MID YEAR and END OF YEAR BREAKS

FACILITIES, CONDITIONS and RULES
- Security will frequently patrol in the designated area while the room is operating. At the close of the rooms all students should be asked to leave the building, and the building will be locked.
- The E6A rooms are covered by wireless network and therefore provide computer network access for students who have notebook computers.
- Rooms E6A 108 and 109 are for quiet study only, no discussion. Quiet group discussion is permissiable in the larger room E6A 131. No discussion is allowed when W5A T1 is used.
- Students have access to the toilets next to E6A 108 and outside of W5A T1.
- There is an internal "house" phone in the study rooms which occupants can use to dial security (x7112) or other internal numbers.
- Security can provide an escort service to the car park area for patrons 24 hrs a day. Students should call x7112 to arrange the escort, which may arrive up to 15 minutes after the phone call.
- No food and drink, apart from water only in sealed containers (plastic bottles), will be allowed in the rooms. Food and other drink must be consumed outside the building and security will ask any student with food or drink to leave.
- Students are not to interfere with any equipment installed in the rooms and will be asked to leave if found doing so. Equipment in the rooms is alarmed and alarms triggered in this area will be investigated by security.
- After Hours Study Room students are not permitted to use the adjacent ICS computer labs. These labs are reserved for ICS students under the rules that govern use of these labs.
- The Library "closing time" announcement will advise students of the location and operating times of the After Hours Study Room for that day.
